Metito's leadership recognised at the International Water Conference in Orlando, Florida
A member of the Advisory Council on the International Water Conference, and a leading water treatment company, Metito chaired the session on 'International Water Challenges' outlining major issues that nations face when it comes to drinkable and industrial water.

The session specifically shed light on challenges in rebuilding Iraqi's Water Infrastructure. The conference as whole provided an ideal platform for global companies and experts involved to tackle such topics as the process water for power plants and cooling water treatment in the most difficult of environments.

Commenting about their participation at the conference, Mr. Tarek Ghandour, head of Metito Houston, said:' The IWC is a high profile event and it was our pleasure to be present at the prestigious conference. The challenges are huge and require joint efforts on the part of many global players. Metito is proud to contribute.'

Metito's presence at the conference bestowed the chance to emphasize the challenges of supplying potable water to the Iraqi population, refurbishing power plants, water treatment systems and municipal sewage treatment plants. In the past eight years Metito has supplied over thirty water treatment facilities in the country, located in the Baghdad, the North, the South and the Syrian border.

Mr. Mustafa Hasan, Country Manager of Metito Jordan & Iraq, said:' It's time to start rebuilding a country decimated by war. Assessing the damage to the Iraqi infrastructure and figuring out the next steps are not going to be easy; the key objective in rebuilding Iraq is the restoration of the power, water and sanitation systems. Metito helped in revamping and redeveloping Iraqi's infrastructure particularly in areas of water treatment to assure that the Iraqi people are receiving safe and healthy drinking water'.
